Has anyone successfully overclocked a 2200+, if so is there a step by step guide, I could use anywhere?

Has anyone used the "Nvidia Bios editor v1.0" on a geforce Ti4600, I just want to know what settings you used for the GPU and memory speeds.. without the card needing any mods, like a bigger fan etc? and did it make a difference in performance?
I have the Asus Geforce Ti 4600, what has a fan and 2 heatsinks on it already... hopefully I wont need to make any mods....

Any information or help appreciated :D

I don't think editing the bios on the ti4600 will gain you much if anything, volt/modding it well that another story. my ti4400 will do 339/700 in games and loops 3dmark2k1 at an impressive 328/683 for over 48 hours artifact free..

word of warning every card that ive done or seen volt/modded has been msi, pny, or creative they are all made at the same manuf. plant by msi and seen to be exactly the same asus how ever seem to be trouble. on this site and vr-zone and several others attempting the volt/mod on asus card resulted in a big key chain or a RMA..

Almost everybody's GPU Vmod works great, the cards don't seem to like the memorymod though.

Only GPU mod; all is clear and works great. GPU+Mem = DEAD in many cases, pretty weird stuff

The GPU mod, can that be done via the Nvidia Bios Editor?

Or do I need to do some proper modding?

Nope with the GPU mod I was talking about the V-mod so you're going to need to break out the solderingtools.
And upgrade the cooling ,preferably watercooling (+pelt) or a great heatsink with a peltier to take care of the extra heat.

You could always try Grabbers. No soldering. Just my .02c

I'm not a big fan of those smd grabbers.

you have to silicone them on so they don't move while mouting the card. If the grabber just turns a little bit you get a whole new connection :) and one dead card

Grabbers work quite well on the memory. U can even use the
u-shaped ones. Just file them down slightly. You still must be careful that you don't snag them during use. ie moving things in the case while the vid card is installed etc........

GPU I think it may be just a little too difficult. Legs are very close together.
