Hello guys need some help to buy a new mobo and CPU. help me to get better combo!


AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz 3 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3

AMD Phenom II X4 920 2.8GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+

what is the best overclocker, and want to stay on DDR2 platform.

Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P is what I have just got for my 955 BE and have just increased the clock to 18x (200) which is 3600.

Only a mild overclock but it does the job. I went for the above mobo because its DDR2 and I had spare memory to use

I would go the the LanParty JR but I just like DFI :P

I have the non jr version of the dfi 790gx and I absolutely love it. best motherboard I have ever owned hands down
