Anyone ever see a copper colored coolant? Working on a project and that would look sick...

I mean, you clould use some sort of orange, IIRC there is a feser ONE orange.

try maybe mixing orange and green

Didn't some of the colors warn against mixing as the chemicals might not interact well with another?

just looked at a color chart... I think for cooper you would need the F1 orange and some red food coloring for tint..... the only solution I cant think of

Could try finding some of this (http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/primochill-pure-non-conductive-coolant-32-oz---gold-1277-p.asp)

Just use copper tubing :p:

That would look sweet but it would be a pain to put in.

OK, what about braided copper wire sleaving? That would do the trick too. All I have seen is tinned silver but no actuall copper colored stuff....

Now that looks sick. Love how it is mandrel bent copper and not brazed together with a bunch of joints. Pure beauty!

is there any copper-coloured sleeving that could be used to wrap the tubing in coppery goodness?

edit: nvm, late to the punch I see

edit: to hopefully rise above total posting useleness:p:, maybe there's an idea you could use in this thread where a guy was looking for genuine copper sleeving

Dang, the link for the stuff comes up 404..... dang...

As for copper fetish, not really. Just going to go copper accent, similar to Lian li Anniversary, but more tasteful...

arghhh.... that sux (strange, links okay for me. Note: he was looking to sleeve wires so maybe some of the more out-there solutions are wire-specific?)

well, there was link to a custom sleeving place in there:

http://www.glenair.com/conduit/convoluted/customcable.html

as well as this idea:

"How about using coaxial cable? Get a piece of RG213 and carefully cut off the insulator. You should be able to "bunch up" the braid to remove the dielectric"

tho I don't have a flippin clue what that means:confused:

then there was the following exchange, but the link it references to acroelectronics or whatever (that apparently was the source of a good idea) came up 404 for me!!

That's exactly it, Pugger! Exactly!

Now I just need to figure out how to put a nonconductive layer on top of that stuff. The gauge of the individual strands is way smaller than I'd figured on, which presents a bit of a problem. :/

edit: the OP also posted this, which I just love

"Nice? NICE?!
I don't do nice.
I do "viewers make puddles." I do "are you frigging nuts?" I do "did you really replace all those capacitors JUST FOR LOOKS?!"

basically an update to my current G70.

G70 Build (http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j241/Brokennails/G70%20build/)

Was going to have the case powder coated mirror glossy black. Just found out the anodizing plant here locally might still be alive, I might get it glossy black anodizing. Going to replace the perforated aluminum sheet fan grill in my current build with perforated copper on top, and the front is going to be redesigned for a triple rad and only three dive bays. So instead of having a big opening for the rad like I do now, I am going to have it sleeker looking like the top.

Another option I might do to save cost is get the parts I have now copper anodized to look like polished copper without the copper price...
;)

Will definitely post some sort of worklog as my G70 one disappeared I think...
