I'm just wondering of how well/bad you do in Super Pi on 1M calc! ;)


I get 57sek with my CPU at 2.5GHz! My mb whont allow higher FSB :(
I'm getting a new one for christmas though...

That was with a 3.0C overclocked to a little over 4.0 ghz thanks to a Mach II . 1 gig of Ocz PC4000-gold on an asus P4C 800 deluxe. 1:1 on the ram it was 268mhz FSB.

I get 37/38 seconds depending on the time of day, positioning of the moon.....

Athlon 1700+ @ 2.8GHz
200MHz FSB(I have a crappy Abit NF7-S V1.2)

I got 50sec with my 2300MHz T-Bred... but the MoBo doesn't allow high FSB...

I got 39 Seconds P4 2.4C @ 3.6 Ghz BH5 2-2-2-5 3/2 divider dual

and then I tried launching Super PI in "real time" under Device Manager and got got 38 Seconds !!!

just got this 3.2C in the other day and broke my high of 39 sec finally I had with my 2.4c at 3.5. Still need to see how high this thing will go. This bench was run at 230. Weird but 235 which I am at right now gives the same result.

Here's 35s on my A64 @ 2.56GHz with the RAM COLCKED BELOW 200MHz. It took me a few times but I got 35s :cool: But if my Mushkin Level II would OC past 200MHz I would have a lower score. BTW I know its not the ram because I've had it up to 230MHz on my NF7-S.

I'm no expert on this but I thought Prescott was faster than Northwood on Super Pi. 43 sec. seems way slow even for a Northwood at 3.7. Might have something hindering performance in your system.

Edit: Tried with my OCZ EB 3500 @ 283MHz and got 0,323 s better. :)
