I thought the 2300+ and up chips were supposed to be on the market by now, I am getting a little frustrated with AMD. I'll still not go to Intel, but AMD needs to get moving if they are going to keep their faithful customers happy.

Get a move on AMD! :stick:

That would be wishfull thinkin m8.

My guess is they are going to go straight to 2400+ if the rumours about the second revision t-breds are true.

I hope you are wrong. I do not plan to buy a new mainboard for a while. I am saving up to buy some new hard drives so that I can set up RAID 0+1. An XP TBred 2400+ or better would be a nice addition as well.

I think its safe to assume that the next version of the Athlon will be the new 166MHz FSB Athlons. Cant wait, some great overclocks to be had I think.

I think the general idea is that AMD needs something, and something quick. Retail-wise they're getting their asses handed to em. I mean, people see 2533 or 2200+ and they're still going to go for the 2533 just because it's a bigger number.

*kicks amd*

Erm, was I the only one who read that AMD was going to change their production process of their T-bred, because the current won't allow enough headroom for higher clocks?

I though the next in line was going to be a XP2600+.
