View Full Version : Will this Koolance NB/SB cooler allow a sound card to fit?

Hello everyone, as I slowly gather parts to WC my Rampage II extreme, I wanted to know if this Koolance Block will allow a soundcard in the first pcie 1x slot? I have been waiting for the Bitspower one, but its still MIA...:(

Actually , I think you just might be able to fit one in.
Best looking R2E block I've seen, and at a reasonable price.

Yeah, very reasonable! Although the bitspower one does look amazing. Maybe Dean would know if a sound card would fit.....

I know the EK block will allow the use of the first PCIX1
dont mined the mess, it was more of a fitment test LOL
heres a pic of the koolance block running, if you try to imagine my soundcard was fullsized id say no, but i cant verify this.

looks like if you put the clamp on the popposite side it should fit. Can you maybe move the clamp and take another pic??

I never thought I would say this, but these new koolance blocks are damn sexy! I would buy one in a heartbeat.
