Audio input to a cd player that does not support audio input

Anyone got an idea how I could do this? I was thinking of either connecting to the laser leads internally or aiming something at the laser to "send" the audio into the unit...

The Circuitry of the CD Lens to the AMP is totally different to what is used for an AUX type input.
