As some of you may know this does not fit all the boards out there now. With the recent editions of X38, X48, and X58 all which have larger hole spacings.

Just trying to see if there is an interest thanks.

If you can some how make it into bloodrage, I am in for one.

Maybe Foxconn BloodRage (http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/motherboards/detail_overview.aspx?id=en-us0000430)

Votes yes if it will work on the Gigabyte Extreme X58 in place of the supplied water block...

I believe he's asking for a transformer that can go from an MCW30 to a Foxconn Bloodrage at the push of a button. :wth:

mcw30 worked fine on my x48 with hardmount.. just invert the plate..

I think a larger universal system would be good, but the question your asking here cpt wont get you many answers, the people who need this have already gone to another block and the people who might want one don't know they will need one yet. ;)

that said put me down for 2 sets of large wings :D I will find a use for them in my new bench station

I'd buy one for this, but not the mcw30.

Yes the new swifty chipset block looks a lot hawter than the old one. Anyone know if BP 7/16 compression work on it?

i prefer DD's MCP Universal.

But im lost in this thread cpt.

The MCW30 is already universal.

No alot of the newer boards have mounting holes larger than 60MM which is the max of the MCW30 with the stock bracket.

I would certainly be. I want to hold on to my MCW30 when I move to X58. Would buy!

DD MCP is overbuilt for a chipset block, the MCW reigns supreme for low restriction which is what you want. I wish dd would make competitive blocks other than FC GPU though :( I want to buy from a company with good service who is entirely US based

Does DD MCP fits Bloodrage?

The MCW30 is a stellar performer and worth the price of additional mounting arms. I have the MCW-NBMAX on my MIIF and I am very impressed with this little block.

i've never actually seen a comparison graph, if you could find one and post one i'd really appreciate that... but from the looks of the MPC it doesn't appear to be very restrictive?.. it didn't effect my temperatures, but then again i'm running a legendary iwaki pump.

martins flow estimator has both blocks IIRC

The XSPC v20 and v3 mount plates span up to 70mm . The Gigabyte P45 board I want to put my my -30 on is spaced at 66mm if I remember right . I would definately go for one .
As a thought , if you made a pair of mount plates that spanned 43 to 50mm . With the mounting slots lining up with the spring wire retaining groove in the top . That would make the block fit my Adaptec raid cards . I'd buy five sets of those plates yesterday if I could .

look very nice Cpt.Planet :)

somehow, it reminds me of ek supreme LT :D....but yes it does make MCW30 much nicer...i do planning to cool my NB/SB with mcw30, and now i become more anxious to get mcw30 so bad, especially with your mounting....

want to know, based on what motherboard that you created that mounting ?

nice ! sloting the block mounting holes would make it even more universal

i think that actually most intersted in waterblock with more contact area, becoz now with chips like x38 it cant cover full chip
low restrictive block mcw-300 with high contact area :up:
