Anyone using this block on an i7 system?? its cheap and I like martins review of it for the old 775 systems. the fins rather than the pin matrix look like it will flow better that most blocks out there which is good for the system i want to build.

Planning on sticking this in a loop with 2 mrc320's a mcw30 and 2 xspc FC 4870x2 blocks with a CPX-Pro all in a little MATX box. :D:D

The XSPC Delta V3 does not use fins, it uses pins - over 1600 of them apperantly..........

I have been able to take my 920 to 4.5ghz with my EVGA x58. However, I am using a feser quad rad, but with 22dba low speed fans

Its a good block, no doubt about it, especially for the money.

No, that's just xtreme!:p:

Make sure you have enough rad capacity and you'll be fine.

The V3 should be an excellent block for larger core processor, would also probably do well in TEC applications. That's a huge array of micro pins and tons of surface area with a very large distributed flow. I havn't kept up on these new cores lately, but you probably need to watch for the step sizes in some of these blocks too. You might have to remove the step out of the base if you need to cool a larger area.

Good to hear these are the best priced 1366 waterblocks atm in the UK and I've enjoyed all my other XSPC stuff to date :)
