Hey can some tell me how to completely DISABLE cpu hyperthreading in windowsXP pro. I can disable it thru the bios but is there any other place I have to disable hyperthreading in the OS.

No it will disable when you boot into windows if it's disabled in the bios

Why are you disabling HT? Not only did it give me a few point increase, but it didn't affect my overclock at all...

no I dont want to disable it for benching. Just to test out some programs.
