I am wondering if there is a way to run AMD Overdrive on a Nvidia chipset? If not is there a good global program for overclocking on a nvidia chipset?

AOD 2.09 works to a certain degree, you can change memory timings & other parameters for the memory controller. As for "global program for overclocking" I doubt there is any.

AOD is just an overclocking interface between software (AMD OverDrive) and hardware (chipset/CPU/clock generators). AOD should be implemented in BIOS code in order to allow user to benefit from AMD OverDrive. AOD interface is similar to WMI interface.
