Nice One Pilsy... MorexPlus are usually the first to get em in the UK I think... followed by SPD, then MicroDirect, with Quantum somewhere in there....

Marci - all I can say to your list there is none of the above :p. The 9700 feature in CTO today prompted me to canvass all the distributors and came up with Spire as having the earliest date. microdirect didnt have it listed, my usual suppliers (CTL) had 2 weeks leadtime on it but Spire came back with a confirmed 12th august.

Just so you know if you buy all of those I will come to wakefield and personally give you a slap cos 2 of them are wanted :p.

RRp is apparently £329.99, bulk buy trade you should be looking at around 270ish.

Im thinking if we all band together and buy as many as possible then we should get a fair old saving.

hehehe, Ive got new Rimms Entuscan (from JC), 3Gigs are on it's way.
got myself a new Ti 500 for € 129 to, trying to beat Macci's score on that one.
Got a 80 watt pelt, Alpa 6035 for the cooling (worked on my Ti 4200, had condensation).
what's your score now ?

in Australia we wont have these cards for about another 2-3 months so Id like to be the first kid of the block to have one here ;)

What I'll do then is post up as soon as they have stock in and we can all "book" cards from then.

Wire transfer is no problem at all, and neither is shipping.

What im thinking is that unless any of you want to wait until the start of september when my wages could cover the outlay, that if you pay for the card only i'll cover shipping, then bill you for the shipping when I know the costs.

Anyway, as soon as I can get some in stock i'll post up quantity here and first come first served :).

If S&H isn't to much it might be interesting to have all the cards shipped here to Belgium and then back to the UK or other country buyers.

Since orders between the UK and the so called "mainland" or EU are without VAT, that's (i believe) 19% in the UK so a nice "discount"

The way international (EU) VAT works is that you pay VAT for the country youre shipping from, not to.

Itll be a nice saving to buy from the UK for anyone whos charged more VAT than 17.5% tho.

Damm I forgot that The UK is part of the tax paying country's in the EU.

Damm different names and country's; EU, europe
UK is part of EU (15country's) but not Europe (13) :( got the 2 mixed up.

These country's have to pay takes with international orders to eachother:
Belgium, Greece, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Portugal, Germany, Itali, Spain, Finland, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, or Sweden

Anyhow is it possible for you to make/get an Invoice for the card?
Since I have a VATnr etc. So that would be 0% tax for me then (and of this I'm 110% sure, thats with all international bussines I do :D )

Sorry for putting some people's hopes up :flame:

Since i'll be buying them then the invoices will be in my name, and if I then sell them on as vat taxable i'll have to pay tax on the damn things as resaleable goods :rolleyes:.

Im not VAT registered so your tax rebate would come out of my pocket :p. That makes it a resounding no then ;).

If you know the store it usually isn't a problem. I've had it done at different stores too. Usually I had to give the store a call or an e-mail stating person X is buying it on my behalf and it was ok.

Could you ask if it's possible for me, plz?

Or i'd have to get my ass on a plane, and come and get it myself :)
