I put my rig together this weekend and my mic won't work on either the back ports the top ports of my antec nine hundred case or the front ports that are part of my card reader. Frustrated i went out and bought a sound blaster x-fi xtremegamer fatal1ty pro series soundcard and none of the ports work. Any help is appreciated. here's my rig specs:

Intel core 2 duo E8400 E0 steppin' @3.0 or 3.6 i'f like it to run stable at 3.8-4.1 GHz
