Since having my Prommie installed I have noticed that my motherboard temp readings are around 8C lower than they used to be. Touching the PCB and NB HSF confirms that the motherboard it self is much cooler than it used to be.

Is this normal? Don't think I'm complaining though! :D

well thats normal.
it all depends on the motherboard as to where the sensor is mounted.
some mount theres close to the cpu socket, and the cold temp from the cpu will slightly cool the pcb enough to show a decrease in system temps

My temps were higher as there is less ambient air movement due to no CPU fan.... so I added another quiet fan
