ive got a bent screw. the threads on it are bent from the bottom by about 10-15 degrees from straight.

ive pm'ed Gabe, but my question is what would you do?

Are the threads bent or the stud ?

It's the stud thats bent, if you don't want to return it, you can run a nut down to the bent part and straiten it with pliers (hold the nut with pliers to bend it).

i gotta run to the hardware store tomorrow. no nuts small enough.

ok i got most of it out there is only a slight bend at the bottom like this

If the nut threads on smoothly you're good to go. :up:

just tighten it as soon as your past that part your good

but i think the screwis fine now
