intranet question

ok I got a 24 port patch panel

10 workstations
1 server (file server)

4 workstations are live on network off router....

I tap in with another router but can not get a live feed from patch panel to 6 remaining rigs - why??

I have been assured the wall is done as crossover and the patch cables are made by me as straight throughs.... why would I not be getting a signal?

Heh - try a crossover patch - wouldn't be the first time anyone's made a mistake.

switched cables - no good tried another rig - she is running folding now.... thinking it is bad punch on cabinet

And I thought they all used straight through cables? You using crossovers on them?
