Hello there, am building a ultra-high computer and would like to watercool it.

My main topic is over here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=211063

Since am new to this and don't really know where to start, I thought I keep it simple and go for all in one system, what do people think of the Zalman Reserator XT Hybrid Liquid Cooling System listed here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118032

I need to cool my LGA1366 and two 4780 x2 mainly, I won't be building this myself, just need to find the parts I need.

I have 11 hours to make a list of watercooling parts before I have to order it all.

If anyone can help, then I would really welcome that, thank you.

Don't bother with that.

Stick to air if you don't want complex because you are going to have 2 loops as i7 is way hotter than the sun.

If you measure the actual wattage consumed, i7 is no hotter than Kentsfield (somewhere between Kents and York really)...the thermal sensors can't be compared from one gen to the next.

For a simple water loop, the Swiftech H20-220 Compact would probably serve you well, just no i7 mounting exists yet :(

Probably best to just stick with air and maybe go to water further down the road when more options are available. :)

When you talk about i7 mountings, you mean the CPU water blocks?

Because there is a few out already: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-000-EK

If I can just cool the video cards now, that be the best, since they run super :banana::banana::banana:ing hot. :p

Seen this often, what do you think? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/XSPC-Full-Cover-Razor-HD-4870-X2-Black-Acetal-VGA-Water-Cooling-Block

Well if you want to do a full-out loop with individual parts rather than a kit....then yeah, there are more options. EK Supreme and Swiftech GTZ both have LGA1366 mountings available, maybe a few other blocks do by now too

I'm sure a few people here have experience with WCing in the P80 and can give some pointers as to what will work and what won't :)

Ah well hope so, if someone has the same setup as me, then that help a lot, if they wouldn't mind, I would like to note down their parts and just order the same, if it works for them, it work for me. :P

Seen these two, these are the correct versions right? but I need to order the 1366 back plates or something?

The Swiffy's the top dog (It's why I got one now :D) but yeah you need the i7 backplate which I can only find in USA right now. If you're going multi loops then you can either get DDC's or D5's.

Me I'd have a DDC for each loop. If I was skimping on the pumps I'd run the GPU + CPU in parrallel (ie Y-Split them and join them back at the radiator).

Seems like Swiftech has everything I need for the video cards, but why does everything that I find is out of stock or in the US? :/

You mean out of stock in the UK?
Show me which parts. Not sure on whats the best 4870X2 block, but I'm sure theres a few on here who have one or a few in crossfire who can tell you. I don't know if the different GPU blocks matters as you rarely (if not any?) see reviews on them and they're not machined like CPU blocks with the miniscule fins etc for max turbulence and more heat transfer.

The Caldera 4870X2 Water-block (Can't find in the UK)
Swiftech MCW60R VGA Waterblock (Need 4, they only have 2) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-019-SW
Swiftech Apogee GTZ (LGA775) Waterblock (1366 thingy needed, but only in the US)

Do you know any other UK PC sites, I been using dabs, overclockings, scan.co.uk and ebuyer.

So this is what I have written down so far, I honestly don't know much about cooling, but from reading here, I guess dual loops is best?

One to cool the CPU and one to cool the Graphic Cards?

CPU

Swiftech Apogee GTZ (LGA775) Waterblock

EK Supreme i7 Acetal (Socket A,754,939,AM2,478,LGA775 & LGA1366) CPU Water Block (maybe)

GPU
Swiftech MCW60R VGA Waterblock (Quantity 4)

CALDERA-Heat Sink (Quantity 2)

PUMP
Swiftech Laing D5 Vario MCP655 12V DC Pump (Quantity 2)

Yeap dual loops are preferred over 1 loop. But if anyone more advanced than me is reading this are parrallel loops with a CPU and GPU good or bad?

PS - The reason we haven't got those parts here is because Swiftech have released them in the US first. Overclockers and Scan aren't watercooling specialists so they will order from their basic suppliers/distributors but other specialist watercooling shops will order them or have them I think.
