They are a bit slow huh. Normally it's Swiftech [refer to gtx200 kit] but they were uber fast with just about everything now.

i hear ya on that one, the new mount is what is keeping me from getting my new rig up and running. while on the subject of the d-tek, does anyone know if the koolance 1/2" ID/ 3/4"OD compression fittings will fit, checked the guide but its not listed on there.

With some UV active coolant. . . . ZOMG that top would be good.

I'll stick with my cheap distilled H2O. :p:

Yum! Thats pretty temping. Does this top allow for 3/4" OD BP compression fittings? May have to pick up a top.

I must say that top looks sweet. I would have a hard time though paying the $50 for one.

The more people that buy the top, the cheaper it gets. The top isn't just about looks either, it improves on the block by removing the middle piece + washer..... no more backpressure from small nozzles..... just straight raw pressure.

I got tired of waiting for a Fuzion-mount for my v1 and ordered a GTZ!

and don't forget the extra mounting for core i7 if you're going with that processor...

Sure is a long production time for a mount.

I'm at work right now and unable to register at that site until tonight when I get home ... but could you pass it along that I will contact him about getting a custom V1 top made ... and that I live in the same town as USPlastics ... they always have surplus stuff laying around and I may be able to pick up some acrylic or delrin for fairly cheap in the showroom.

Thanks !

top cost as much as the block... lol...

At this point.. i figure better block should be a more ideal route..

The d-tek V1 isnt the best block out there anymore..

The price isn't that bad when you consider it's an exclusive, hand made product....

I'm getting one for my V2 cause it's what I want to do & I like the tops. If it improves my block any at all I'd spend $75 instead of buying a new block just for the sake of buying it cause it's 2% better.

I have a feeling once the numbers are out, this top will prove to be much more than an aesthetic improvement.

Go ahead and build it with a stock air cooler and get it running. Heck, I'd go with another block. SOmethign has abviously happened, and we're now in the Christmas shipping season, so if they are waiting on any parts to get shipped they are now stuck in a hub somewhere sitting on the shipping warehouse floor, which is where anything else you'd order will be sitting unless you go next day air, or second day. Even Priority Mail is now rasing their ship times. I have been told that supplies may be get to me, or they may be delayed for up to 5 more mailing days through the USPS.

It is that time of year. The time is *now* to get stuff unless you want seriously long shipping times. The shippers turn into Santa this time of year, and they are totally covered up.

Badgering Dan on a daily basis on a non-affiliated forum isn't going to accomplish anything. Try sending him an E-Mail to see if you can find out anything....and be polite! ;)

Customers should NEVER be at the mercy of the manufacturer. Find a shop to make one for you, or go swiftech/EK.

I have sent a polite e-mail and not gotten a response. He has a responsibility to let his customers at least know what's up here. This is getting ridiculous. I don't have enough money to even buy a new WB at this point so I am stuck waiting for this freaking mount kit from D-Tek.

In an unrelated topic, I too emailed D-Tek twice last month and still have not gotten a response.

Same here. I gave up. I'll resort to voting with my wallet.

Shame; I was going to purchase a few things too. At least Swiftech and EK mail back.

As with anything from D-Tek, patience is required.

...then again, I can't really comment on e-mail response time.

Not so much the response time, but that they don't respond *At All*

My first and second CPU blocks have been D-Tek products due to their excellent reputation and their workmanship. I was hoping to add a GPU block to the list, but three unanswered emails in 6 weeks has me thinking EK (excellent response time, great products) or Swiftech (same deal).

Not that it has, or I expect it to, but if this is the kind of service I get on the front-end I will not trust the company when something goes wrong. It's just not worth dealing with, especially since this is a hobby.
