Hi, i'm thinking about liquid cooling my my computer sometime soon, but first I want to know I have room to put it and were i'm not sure were to put it. I'v tried looking around the web for pics, but I haven't found many. The ones I saw had the rad hanging out the back. I'd pefer to have it inside the case. So is it possible? I'v had a look inside my case, but i'm not sure.

BTW I'm not to keen on modding the case also I'd be using a 3 fan rad.

Thanks

You can fit a 120.3 rad in front but you lose the HDD bays. I've seen 2 HDD's mounted flat against the chassis between the side panel so a little rearrangement and it is possible.

Thanks, how would I hold them in there?

You remove the HDD cages and use DIY brackets from the rad to the side chassis and slide the whole assembly in from the front. There is a vid on youtube where you can see this done.

You can stick a triple rad in the front and mount the HDD's up top above the rad, I just secured it with some heavy duty zipties your gonna have to take out the cages and just run the grills only.

I used this http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/schadistx4sp.html and cut it enough to hold 3 drives, no room for a dvd drive your gonna have to go external..

A fan controller can go up top no problem even mounted a 92mm fan on top of the rad to cool the drives.

Thats the one. You can see pretty clearly how it all fits. It is not the 3 fan rad you wanted to use but if you ommit the HDD cage you can fit a triple.

No pics seen here either anthony...

I can tell you a 120.3 would fit but you would lose all the HDD bays. You can fit a 240 sized rad in there and still keep and HDD cage.

better head out to dangerden.com and start shopping!

Buddy. You have the same (dead) links to pics in ALL your threads in any subject.

I just had an idea. What if I put one 2 fan rad in the HDD cages and another 2 fan rad on my back two fans?. So would that be better then a 3 fan rad?

BTW whats the best CPU block?

That would work, but the difference is that second rad has to deal with the internal heat dump of all in the internals including the rad. Im not certain how much of a difference that would make however.

Yeah I see what ur saying, I did some measuring and it looks like I might have enough room for 2 rads at the front. Like rad - fans - ran.
