Since I've not heard of a tool that does this besides Set FSB-which only runs under windows, I'm wondering if there's an EEE PC BIOS that allows the FSB to be adjusted or at least brings the clock back to 900MHZ?

Celeron-M based EeePC or Atom based EeePC? eeectl is the overclocking one for EeePCs. Also, there are BIOS's for the 900 series at least that allow for high-performance mode to be enable by default. I don't know about the 700 series, but the 900's will default to 630MHz to save battery and 900MHz when plugged in.

do you own one? if not, ur better off getting an MSI wind, better display and smoother overclocking methods, see here; http://www.electricvagabond.com/2008/10/msi-wind-bios-109-update-overclock-and.html

I want to avoid getting the MSI Wind because it's $100 more than the 4G I plan on getting and I don't see the advantage of the Wind over the EEE aside from overclocking, of course...
The lastest BIOS (1101) has an update labled "Add clock gen second source support." so, I'm wondering if that's anything significant.
