Would there be a huge flow rate or temp difference between running 2x 240mm rads compared to 1x 480mm rad?

Are you referring to two HWLabs GTX240 versus a GTX480??

I prefer 1 x 480

More so in terms of 2 x Thermochill PA120.2's (which i currently own) running in series compared to running 1 x 480mm Feser Rad

Just wondering if its worth buying a 480mm Feser rad, or if my 2 thermochills in series would produce similar results.

What are you cooling with them, and if you aren't satisfied with the one loop temperatures why not split the loop?
I wouldn't worry about the restrictiveness, but i'm sure you would get better separate temperatures with 2 loops and the 2 120.2's.

In terms of background info... let me explain.

I just sold my watercooled QX9650 setup and am building an i7 rig. I was previously using these rads in that setup. I'm now building a new setup and want to run 2 loops.

So i don't have an issue with cooling performance as such, but i am trying to plan ahead so that i don't run in to any issues down the track where my cooling becomes the problem.

Loop 1 will be for the CPU and will have:
EK Supreme
360mm Rad (TC or Feser)
MCP355 + XSPC top

Loop 2 will be for 2x GTX 260's:
2 x EK blocks
MCP355 + XSPC top
2 x PA120.2 or 1 x 480mm Feser rad

So basically i was looking at using 480mm worth of rad to cool the 2 GPU's, and just wanted to know if there was a huge difference between 2x 240's and 1x 480 :)

they would be pretty close to each other imo
