I ordered my first watercooling kit which are:
Swiftech Apogee GTZ
Swiftech MCP655
Swiftech MCRES Micro Revision 2
Swiftech MCR320-QP
Swiftech High-Flow Fitting (G 1/4" Thread, 1/2" OD)
UN Designs Z-Bracket
(UN)Designs Absolute Pump Bracket Rev. 2
Tygon R3603 1/2in. ID 3/4in. OD
Herbie Clip® Nylon Hose Clamp Size H
Petra'sTech PT_Nuke

I do not know what kind of fluid I'm going to use. I am thinking about getting a Feser One 1 UV fluid or Distilled water from Walmart and mix it with PT Nuke that I bought.
However, the Feser one is pretty expensive, $20 per liter. I can but 20 gallons of distilled water from walmart with that $20.

If I am going to use distilled water with PT Nuke, will I get corrosion with the components that I have?

I vote for distilled + nuke, you're not mixing metals in that loop so you don't have to worry about galvanic corrosion and distilled performs a bit better than Feser One(as well as being cheap).

yup pt nuke and distilled

What do you mean I am not mixing metals in my loop? sorry man I am bad mixing chemicals and stuff.
The components that I think that got some metals are GTZ, MCR320-QP rad, Swiftech high flow fittings, MCP655.

I mean all your parts are metals that don't react with each other meanwhile if you had say copper and aluminium parts in your loop you'd need loads of anti-corrosion additives to slow down corrosion. So the only thing you potentially have to worry about is maybe some algae but PT Nuke should take care of that.

If you don't wait the color then yeah do Distilled and either PT nuke or the silver coils that Petra offers.

I checked Swiftech's website and that Swiftech high flow fittings is chrome plated brass. Are copper and chrome plated brass ok to be mixed?

By the way, I have Cosmos S case, how am I going to mount my MCR320-QP rad up the top? I think the rad does not come with mounting screws.

Brass and Copper don't react with each other so it's perfectly fine.

Thanks for clearing this for me.

Yeah everything you've listed there is okay to mix. The rad will come with screws with it, both of my swifties did. And the Cosmos S already has the 3 top fans set up only thing I would do is cut out the meshed area were the fans pull air thru just to cut out some of the air flow restrictions.

Which one is better setup to cool the Swiftech rad?

Or both?
I might get 3 of these Scythe Slip Stream 120mm 40.17 CFM(10.7dBA) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185057&Tpk=SY1225SL12L)to push some air; also, Thermaltake A1927 120mm Red LED (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811999138) to pull some air out if I am going to do push and pull.
Should I get the 64.54CFM(24dBA) Scythe Slip Stream (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6444/fan-381/Scythe_Slip_Stream_120mm_x_25mm_Fan_-_1200_RPM_SY1225SL12M.html)?

Before you get in too deep, go through the stickies and read them all. It will take awhile, but it will save you much greif believe me. Some of those threads have 100's to near 1000's of replies, but eventhough some of the info is a bit dated, it still contains a wealth of info and bits and pieces thrown in that is extremely valuable. It will save you mone, and time, and one of the things that is in there is galvanic corrosion. It explains it in great detail.

Watercooling done right is awesome, and you can see that in people's build's here and in the Projects logs, but watercooling done wrong can be a disaster, and mnay end up causing you worse temps than air.

I've been studying this stuff on here for a long time now. I still have not got a complete setup running, and have changed things considerably becasue of the info posted here, and because of the suggestions given to me.

With the water, if you want to go pure distilled it will give you the best cooling. You can also use Silver Kill coils. Silver is a natural Biocide, and with those all you have to replace is Pure Distilled water with no additives whenever you tear down your loop for routine checks. That or PT nuke is what is recommeneded by the experts here.

NO ONE SHOULD EVER USE SLIPSTREAMS ON A RAD!!! (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=193126) <-clicky on link

Thanks for that graph!
I read the review. I am getting Yate loon.
Which Yate Loon should I get for my radYate Loon D12SL-12 120mm Silent Fan w/ RPM Sensor (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2495/fan-194/Yate_Loon_D12SL-12_120mm_Silent_Fan_w_RPM_Sensor.html) or Yate Loon 120mm x 25mm Fan (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6172/fan-342/Yate_Loon_120mm_x_25mm_Fan_D12SL-12.html).

EDIT: http://www.petrastechshop.com/12yalod1cafa.html I found it cheaper on petra

I'd get the mediums. They are still pretty quiet. Mediums on that rad are perfect, and in low usage times, get a fan controller and turn them down to low, silent.

I would get the Scythe S-Flex "F" or "G" fans.

http://www.jab-tech.com/Scythe-S-FLEX-S-FDB-120mm-Quiet-FAN-SFF21G-pr-4160.html

I prefer the "G" model.

Fluid:

99% distilled water
1-2 oz antifreeze of your choice
Aquarium Algaecide (follow label directions-usually one drop)

I am going to buy distilled water at the nearest wallmart here. I ordered PT nuke, and it should be here on 12/12/08.
About that 1-2 oz antifreeze, what is that?

YYOu need antifreeze? Shouldn't need any.

Yep, fans I use.

I bought 4 of those Yate Loon D12SM-12 (http://www.petrastechshop.com/12yalod1cafa1.html) on petrastech.
Can I sleeve a Tygon tubing 1/2"ID(3/4" OD)? I think I saw one while I was browsing for tubing 2 weeks ago.

Edit: I knew I saw it before.
