Title says it all. My MCW5000-A was nice for learning, and now I need something that kicks azz. I've heard of something called like the Waterfall or something similar...

Yes.

On a Intel both the Cascade and White Water are very close in the performance they will give. But for a AMD the Cascade performs about 1.5c better. Nothing can keep up with a Cascade on AMD rigs, and only the White Water can hang close with it on Intels.

Hmm, I see. So does he make them or just happens to be a retailer for them?

the swiftech block with a 227W tec

He designed them, and IMO he also sells them. Dtek is a retail for them:

I designed both blocks. I made the White Water's for about 7 months, and then worked with DTek for them to produce the White Water. I then stopped making the White Water's at about the end of March this year.

Over the next few months I commenced work on the Cascade design, getting it finalised by the start of July. I still produce the Cascade design exclusively.

There's been some interesting evidence that I've been gathering on the way that P4's report their temperatures. If you're interested in the theory behind it, then I suggest taking a look through this thread:

http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8152

Basically the Cascade is the superior block for dealing with CPU "hotspots", but the P4 CPU doesn't report the temperature of the hottest sections of the CPU die, but rather the coolest.

Cascade is "THE" CPU WB. I have tried Maze4 and LRWW. both were ok but Cascade just blew me away.

The white water is far better than the maze4. The maze4 doesn't really perform any better than the maze3 from what I've read.

what would you expect the performance delta to be between a 5000-A and a cascade? about 5C?

it would be a nice upgrade fo rme...but I would have to wait for a new chip too. It seems this one has hit its limit at sane voltages...and I dont wanna 2V it

Well the delta between the 5000A and the WW at 100W would be 4-5C. The Cascade should be about 1.5C better still.
