I have a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook s7020, 3 years old with 2x512mb 533mhz DDR2 memory sticks. Can I put any brand of SO-DIMM in the machine? The FuSi branded rams are :brick: so expensive, 3x the price of Kingston. I was thinking of putting 2x Kingston 1024MB 533MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL4 SODIMM in it. Would it work?

I have no clue about what memory laptops use I assumed it's SO-DIMM?

Most probably. My Lifebook T also has non-factory RAM.
Nowadays, they don't mess much with ram - in the edo, sd and early so-dimm
ddr1 days, it sucked, but it's quite standard lately.

It uses standard 200pin SO-DIMM laptop memory.

You can get a 2GB kit here from Crucial (http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?model=Lifebook%20S7020) for £24.66 (~$45)

Hope this helps :)

Thanks, the shipping will probably be too much to Finland. I can get the Kingston 1GB sticks here for 12.9€ each
