I think it may be here http://stats.distributed.net/projects.php?project_id=26 There is a spot for edit your information.

There is thread is where I read this: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107726&highlight=ogr

I could not find a team for us on OGR-26. I never ran OGR-25 so am justing starting to learn how this works. I just stated running on one box, but it looks like I have to send in a result before I can get a user name and passord.

Look like I also have to wait for the stats to update before I can update my user name.

I also have now started this up on some linux boxes.

Here is a link http://www.distributed.net/docs/tutor_stats.php that has a section on joining a team and other stuff.

Looks like I am really running RCS-72 instead of OGR-26. In there download page it says "None of these clients here currently support OGR-NG needed for OGR-26 and beyond (those clients are currently still in testing)." I need to look into this more.

I needed to get their prerelease version. On that download page it says:

"client v2.910x contain support for OGR-NG, which is needed for OGR-26 and beyond."]

A link to the prerelase download page is at: http://www.distributed.net/download/prerelease.php

The above is linked to from: http://www.distributed.net/download/

Edit 11/24/2008 - The prerelease version is no longer necessary. The standard versions have been updated.

A more direct link (FTP) to choose the exact version you want: ftp://ftp.distributed.net/pub/dcti/prerelease/rc/

I have the new Linux64 client started. My account already exists and is connected to XS as I've been on distributed.net the longest of any project. Soon as one unit completes we should show up.

A note about the dnet projects, the points are much easier at the beginning since the exponents get bigger as the project rolls along. IOW, now's the time to strike. Also, dnet has always been the pet of DPC and you'll see that even the icon for the client is a cow. One reason they like it is there isn't a set deadline and you can delay dumps for a year easily. We all know how the Cow's like a good dump...:cow::fart:

Forgot to add that you have to change the config the first time you run it to include your email address and make OGR-NG higher preference than RC5-72 (default is other way around). Then go here:

http://stats.distributed.net/team/tmsummary.php?project_id=26&team=31529

and click the "I want to join this team" link.

I have got some results turned in today and have now joined. I jumped in a little to fast before I knew what I was doing.

A double-pass overall in this morning's stats. We're sitting in the catbird seat now. :D

I added 12 cores to this today. They don't have a 64 bits windows version for this. The 32 bit windows is a fair amont slower compared to 64 bit Linux.

A Q6600 at 3.1Ghz is over 40% faster than a AMD 64 X2 (+3600) at 2.8Ghz (per core). The Q6600 does around 40 Million nodes per second per core. Looks like it only uses around 8 meg of memory.

That'll do some damage! :yepp:

Always been a little sad they never made a Win64 client but, according to the project's admin they are working on a CUDA client (use nVidia GPU to crunch) similar to the F@H one.
