wow - socket P :) - this good news if i'm not mistaken! :)
providing ur mobo has BIOS support, any of these should do the trick:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010340759+1686143084&Configurator=&Subcategory=759&description=&Ntk=&SpeTabStoreType=&srchInDesc=

careful now, thats a USA e-tailer ;)

as for a tut - dont worry about that :D - just grab urself the needed tools, go slow, be careful & take it apart without the tut! :D

I went to check if I could upgrade my bios and it said that im using the latest BIOS which is 1.50, so dont know if it will be alright if I upgrade the cpu. I want to upgrade it to the T7700 but I'm waiting for someone else that has the balls to upgrade there cpu using the same laptop as mine and see if it was successful. If you could help me find someone who has upgraded there toshiba laptop (same model as mine) please link me tiro_uspsss.

finding someone who has upgraded their CPU for the exact same laptop is next to impossible - best to give Ethan Hunt a call!

seriously tho: I reckon its a case of risking a small loss in $ ...: buy the cpu, plug it in, if it works :woot: - if it doesnt, sell it, maybe at a small loss; who knows *maybe* u can make a wee small amount of $ on it.. or break even
thats my take :)
