So I'm trying to decide how to setup my loops and could use some suggestions. For starters my build will consist of two loops. The first loop will consist of a EK Supreme and PA120.2

The second loop will consist of the following and here is where I'm asking for orientation.

--Parts--

PA120.3
DDC 3.2/XSPC top
EK RES250
HD 4870X2 FC
NB
SB
Mosfets

Thanks!

I usually try to keep the pump after the radiator since the rad puts the most restriction in and the pump before the CPU since they often rely on impingement. Here is how I would set it up.

Radiator -> Reservoir -> Pump -> Mosfets -> CPU -> NB -> SB

If it even comes close to mattering, radiators are very un-restrictive, and there's really no reason to put mosfets first, is there?

the rad has no restriction (relatively) especially wit a PA 120.3

do it like this: res - pump - rad - all other compnents- res

when I say all other components I say that because you just want the shortest loop at that point so figure how to route it for your situation.

Thanks SniiPE, So for my 1st loop would you recommend the same thing? I've never ran more than one loop before?

yes, do res - pump - rad - cpu - res :)

Awesome!!! Thanks again!

Rad doesn't have to come before the blocks necessarily. It's a closed loop, so the temps will even out throughout the entire loop after some point.

Reservoir is always before the pump, but other than that, route it so you use the least amount of tubing possible.

+1, always the rad after the pump to handle the pump's heat dump :D
