I have a 250GB Hard drive with Vista and XP on it. I need to wipe it down to 1 partition. How do i do it?
I have another 250GB HDD with all of my files on it with XP.
I would like to run raid 0 to make it 500 GB. How do I do that so that I do not lose my information on my XP HDD?
After this I will install Vista in a 250GB partition. Should i just have Vista on 1 HDD and XP on the other?
I know this sounds complicated but help will be helpful.

I wouldn't go about trying to format two partitions into one, as far as I know Windows can't do it. I believe Linux has some options but you'd be a lot easier off getting an external 500 GB HDD for cheap and copying everything onto that as backup and then wiping your drives clean.

I have to agree...

It seems like it would be a lot of work to try to do what you're wanting to do.

bad idea.

backup, clean up, then start over. you risk losing data.
