what clearance do you have under the front cover?

Which radiator are you using, it looks like it's for 140mm fans :confused:
its an alphacool nexxos 360...
@logic...its for 3x120mm fan
b@lzor ..about 15mm gap between the front panel and rad fins
b@llz0r

b@lzor ..about 15mm gap between the front panel and rad fins
sweet... that should be enough for airflow... I was looking at radiator options for this case and was considering cutting grill like slots in the front which would ruin the look

Oh yea, I forgot to say rockin' build :p:
:up:
EDIT: Woa woa woa, a fellow Sydneysider! :welcome:
@emoners thanks........tpc is down..herherher
@b@llzor..the rad im using is 30mm thick with the bracket on...if you can see ive removed the bracket to give more air to the rad fins coming from the side vent..removing the bracket gives me an additional 4-5mm
there is another rad which had only 25mm thick..which is to thin for my application...
migth get my bp fittings tomorow....
@logic..thanks mate

That pic is the bomb! :D
Awesome stuff, i've got one question though:
The 360 rad is mounted at the front. But there are only 2 120mm fan holes, and spaced out too. What sort of airflow is the rad getting?
MomijiTMO
11-11-2008, 03:19 PM
I'm still staring at the hdd mount. It looks so good. Great skills!
twwen2...i cant answer your question yet...since i havent tested the machine yet for temperature reading....i am thinking of mounting a 2000rpm kaze jhun slim(100mm fan) on the top part of the 360 (push setup)..but i still dont know if it helps though...

question:
Can a 120 TFC Xchanger handle a 2 x gtx280??..im targeting less 50c for the GPU only...i think
less than 50c is just fine with the 280 on water.... since my 9800gtx runs at 60c idle on air..
still waiting for my perspex
