one of my fan controllers

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11131.jpg
my memory

well here is where i got creative I wanted to save as much bay space as i could and I didnt want to place my three hard drives in 3 slots so i drew up some plans and i came up with something that would only take up 2 slots and holds 3 HDDs :D nothing is sold that is able to do this most of them are 3 bays and hold 4 HDDs... so here is the prototype:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11143.jpg

i sent that to my friend and he made a few changes to it and finished both sides:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11142.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11140.jpg
and yes he added the fan good touch keeps the HDDs cooler since they are so compact

here is how it works:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11144.jpg
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11145.jpg
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11147.jpg

it is placed in the bay with 2 Sycthe Antivibration 3.5" to 5.25" converters

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/SNC11148.jpg
and the fan moves

so since it was ready i send it for powder coating and... it is back in 2 hours :D

why are you using an nvidia board with an ATI vga? nvidia chipsets limit ati cards to 8x PCI-e, not to mention the fact that nvidia chipsets are absolute shyte

Looking good so far! Can't wait to see all these parts come together. I want to go TEC to(same setup you have there) but everyone keeps saying it isn't worth it 7 well in my climate it really isn't but damn it's cool. Maybe change up later on we'll see but for now I'll test out strictly H2O on my setup.

directly applying TECs to cpu's is grossly inneficient and unreliable. the best way to apply TEC cooling is in a chiller setup with many undervolted TECs

e.g. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6140/cpa-219/Lian-Li_EX-23NB_Black_Drive_Bay_ExpansionCooling_Kit.html?tl= g43c241s611

yea thats not good because I was saving space I wanted to put 3 HDDs in 2 bays not 4 HDDS in 3 bays... which is what you linked... but im already done with the one I made its already in place and works fine :D

ive always been tempted by the idea of tec cooling, but my research has led me to think there isnt much out there hat can handle a quad

thanks b@llz0r :D

its a 226W pelt for now... which came stock with the MCW6500... I will be replacing this with a Stinger V8 oversized which will have a 437W TEC in it :D but thats a bit down the way and for Quads you gotta get alot of TEC power in there so you need alot of cooling for that its pretty hard

This Lian-Li adapter will convert two external 5.25" drive bays into three internal 3.5" drive bays. All three drive bays are cooled by a centered 80mm fan. Comes with a washable air filter.

Warning: Fits most cases, but mounting holes might not line up with newer cases.

;)

It is a good build though well done.

Weird thing is it's quite unusual to see someone have an nv board with an ati card

Nice log, and sorry if this has been asked already but why would you mix a nvidia board with a 4870? I don't see the point...

well both the 680i and the 4870 are temporary it only cost me $200 to buy both so it wasnt a big dip in the savings I already have my 790i and almost a GTX280 this is a trial run while I save up the whole condensation proofing and etc is better to be tested on a 680i rather than a 790i :D

Day 4 - mini update

heres another update on to the little amount of modding i did today :p (i hate work :p... but it pays the bills)

and now remove the tape and your good to go... :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%204/SNC11396.jpg
the LED inside is red but I switched them out for Green LEDs... getting Ultra bright LEDs from China in a week or so its soo cheap paid $6 for 50 5mm ultra bright Green LEDs, $15 for 100 chrome 5mm LED holders, $22 for ultra bright UV LED but most of them are for my MM build once i can afford the case :p:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%204/SNC11397.jpg
Here are the LEDs i got right now (the red LEDs have been switched to Green LEDs)

well thats all for today... right now im waiting for a bunch of bitspower fittings and C channel so I can do a test of both loops before I finalize the case and send it for powder coating. ATM im working on a 5.25" bay mount for my Meanwell 320W and setting up all my bay device so I dont have anything in the way of anything else damn the Cosmos S has gotten MUCH smaller than i thought :p: but its coming out pretty nicely like all the devices are coming around pretty well :D

:D Day 5 update :D

well I began the day with installing the plug for my auxiliary PSU here goes :

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11399.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11400.jpg
made a nice little hole for it

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11401.jpg
and it fits perfectly :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11402.jpg
another angle so you can see that it wont be a problem for reaching the outlets

well now i continued my day by making 5.25" bay holder for the PSU... since I did not buy the PSU from swiftech i didnt get all the nice holders and wires that come with it so most of it I had to make it wasnt too hard heres some pics...

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11404.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11403.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11406.jpg
here it is installed and its all good :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%205/SNC11408.jpg
here is what the front of my case will look like

I got slipstreams because they are the only 120x25 fan that pushes 110cfm and they are pretty cheap aswell... My panaflos work fine for the bottom for pushing and they fit fine aswell its just that I cant fint 120x38s up top in the Cosmos S... and I was planning on using the panaflos for pushing and the slipstreams for pulling... panaflos push at 103cfm and the slipstreams at 110 so I though it would be ok... but why would slipstreams be bad for rads?? any test results?? and Im pretty sure it would not be good if I were pushing at 103cfm and pulling at 80cfm any help would be good :D

Day 7 - small update

well im back with a little update :p got as much work done as I could without needing the next package which will be arriving tomm :D

got my PSU installed and relay done with wiring and sleeving :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%207/SNC11490.jpg

and then I took ira-k and manyak(on OCN) 's advice and and soldered higher gauge wires on my TECs wires

my procedure:

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%207/SNC11492.jpg
cut the molex pins off

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%207/SNC11493.jpg
shortened wires so more can be higher gauge wire

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%207/SNC11494.jpg
soldered and heatshrinked

and now onto mounting the relay

Well a little news it turns out the 680i was dead :( so I got no output with th emobo no matter what I did. I tried 2 diff processors (E8400 and Celeron 430), 2 diff RAM(OCZ and G skill), 2 video cards(8600GTS and the 4870), and even 2 different PSUs(Corsair 750W and Cooler master 500W) so anyways it was my bad because I didnt test it enough b4 I proofed it :(:(

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2011/SNC11635.jpg
I got video output! :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2011/SNC11636.jpg
into the bios

well heres where I had a little problem... I was checking the temps and well it does not stay at one temp it just keeps increasing... so I think it might be the Stock heatsink since it came with the single core celeron so I guess it might be the one thats made for single core cpus... So I ordered a Heatsink so we will see how it goes... if it still happens then sadly its a bad lap job :( which would suck but again I have a spare E8500 sitting around so I might use that... it was for a friend but still hasnt picked it up so Ill just take it :p

moving on got a few pics of me finishing the LEDs on the Cosmos S

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2011/SNC11638.jpg

These LEDs have a luminosity of 3000-4000mcd

This case is just MASSIVE and yet still seems soo small compared to the 480s :D but I did a slight test fitting and fits fine but I am unable to use the 5 drivebays on right oof the front panel since one of my 480s covers up one side

well hope you enjoyed two more boxes to arrive today so will take more pics of those so enjoy

lol

This build has turned into two TEC builds :p I have the Cosmos S for my TEC HTPC and the MM Ascension is my TEC PC :D... the Ascension is the only case that would hold 2 480s and a 360 AND a PA120.2 so it was the best choice and it is just an AWESOMELY cool looking case... more pics will be coming for two more boxes that are going to come today

I though u where going TEC on this one too?

But dont mix PT nuke and Feser dye!!!!!

I am going TEC on both im not taking as direct a move as i did with my 680i LT board :p my main rig is gonna go Water and THEN TEC so yea im gonna be slowly OCing as I go along and also my V8 isnt done yet so cant go to TEC just yet even if I wanted to

as for PT_NUKE and Feser Dye its according to Petras:

However, we do not recommend the use of Nuke -PHN with most "pre-mixed PC coolants" and dyes (though, our testing indicates that there may be no compatibility issue with Feser's UV dyes).

Ye i know petras says it but I have seen people on this forum have bad junk buildups on blocks when using it.

But maybe it just with their older Pt nuke?

Well like I said earlier the Water i am currently thinking of using is homemade distilled water... Im using this water as a test for a few days or so and then I will check the inside of the block and then i have a bottle of Feser Aqua coming aswell and I am going to put Feser Dye in that and do the same test for another few days and see if it is my water or its the mixture so yea :D working on it... if its my water i have to buy 6 bottles of feser aqua (and yes i know its distilled water I am unable to but huge amounts of distilled water so I have to make it myself or order ALL of my liquid at once since its an international order... so alot more going on in the back then i let on :D well hope Ive answered your question will show you all how the GTZ looks like after the few days starting the first test right now with my water Feser Dye and PT_Nuke

I really didnt waste any money on air... I used two air cpu coolers which is the stock one that came with my celeron and the Scythe I bought for ($30) so not alot... and air is much easier to test and run to amke sure everythign is good than water since you have to deal with draining it and etc... alot more work with the same result :D

thanks for looking bro

well got it stable at 4.05 w/ 1.46 VID Max temp of 59C im gonna go for 4.5 once I get my TEC setup good to go :D as the build goes... im gonna be taking apart the Ascension completely so it is ready for when the extension kit and the pedestal arrive... another reason being that the Ascension is using my Cosmos S's power supply... and since I have everything for my HTPC build and all the components in the ascension have been tested with air and water its time for the Cosmos S to get a little love and have all its components checked out... as for the Ascension I just ordered lighting for the case got a bunch of white, green and UV lights all of which will be on Delrin Switches... I also just bought sound dampening materials for the pedestal since its gonna have 2 Quads w/ 4 panaflos each and have 6 random fans on blowing air through it so gonna be kinda on the loud side :p: ( I personally dont mind but If i can decrease the sound that would be great :D) I also picked up a crap load of screws from mcmasters... Im going to be replacing all the major screws from the system not using thumbscrews for anything unless its a temporary setup... man mcmaster just pulls you in and you just keep buying :p: thats about it for now will have pics when i head home... will have pics of current water cooled temporary setup... dismantling and system checking of the Cosmos S components... well since I see LOADS of soldering in my near future so I invested in a new Weller Soldering station and well $40 aint alot for a such a quality product it was half off at amazon and well it would be perfect for me with its variable power (5-40W) and having a soldering station helps ALOT :p: and also got a multimeter since I didnt have one and i need one... well thats about all thats been going on

thanks for reading everyone :D

well its been a while since Ive posted pics but here goes... I made a little head way with both PCs the pics say it better so here goes:

MB tray out... I love having this never had this in any of my cases before and never knew how easy it would be to change components or take apart a WC system can be with it :D

this is how the GTZ came out after a few days with my homemade water and dye

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2017/SNC11987.jpg

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2017/SNC11990.jpg
it has a little guck but it does not look like anything that could be caused by the water so im thinking it could be the dye that is doing it not entirely sure if anyone could help with this that would be awesome

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2017/SNC11991.jpg
cleaned it up and put it back together

well the whole case is in pieces waiting its extension kit and the GTZ is put together :p:... so anyways here goes moving on to the HTPC and some little mods made for it

thanks anubis

now I have some bad news :( :( i turned it on and was playing with it and what not and then I closed it to look around for any leaks and well no leaks and then i turn the power back on and there is a fizzle and the red power light on the cosmos S doesnt work now so I test the psu and nothing and then I put a different PSU's 24 pin in the extension and the MB lights up so my corsair 750W is dead and when I finally took the 750 out and then installed my crappy 500W cooler master psu everything seems to be ok but no output :( and right now im thinking the GPU is dead (second one in this build -_-) the monitor is good it keeps looking for source and the GPU's fan is still spinning and I cant smell anything that burnt ANYwhere in the case so I honestly dont know what really happened but I know for sure the TX750 is dead... well i bought a HX520W for this so atleast what I get is modular and works good with this system im gonna change the PCI Express slot soon and then im gonna wait for me 4670 and check it out with that... and I am NOT putting my 280GTX in there :p anyways heres some pics of the case with the cooler master 500W

4 Hours! Great job. Going to be interested to see you final choice of colors.

What did you use to remove the pins from the 24-pin connector?

omaryunus
12-14-2008, 08:46 PM
Ive always used the Ogre sleeving I was jsut waiting for my 50 feet of it to come so I could sleeve the whole 24 pin :D and might do the 8 pin :p: for removing them I used sunbeam's power supply modding tools and I have to say a great kit I broke one of them after a PSU and when I was on my last pin of the 24 pin :p but thank god I had staples around :p: this isnt as awesome looking as yours but Im doing my best :D thanks for looking shazza :D

Day 20 - HTPC done and Extended Ascension/ Pedestal 24 assembled

well I got to working yesterday and this is how far I got came home late from work :(

heres the little box
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12246.jpg

finally my 4670 arrives and it was the last piece I needed to FINISH this system!! yup the HTPC is done

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12247.jpg
Asus is DEFINITELY not saving the planet :p: (look how much space is wasted)

closer look at the card

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12251.jpg
up and running and I watched a bunch of Blu ray movies on it and it seems great :D and a great feature about the 4670 is that I can pass my computer audio through the HDMI cable aswell makes ALOT less clutter :D

I thought the ascension was big but this thing just BLOWS that away sooo much more space and the pedestal is just amazing :D

there was a problem with my order with the color and Ben gave me a free upgrade to Anodized Black and this thing is INSANE! and its a good contrast between my gloss black and the anodized black

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12260.jpg
just MASSIVE!!!

STILL LOADS OF SPACE :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12272.jpg
started checking everything and when i went over the holes in the smiley bottom it seemed too sharp for tubing and just to be safe I C-channeled it :D

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12274.jpg
one done

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12275.jpg
Smiley has been C-channeled :D

well since both the 480s are going in the bottom I will have the use of ALL my bays so the piece of acrylic I bought to cover the right 5 bays wont be used so I thought why not make a little holder then for the Aux PSU sockets

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12277.jpg
it will be going in one of the fan holes in the back which is covered by a 480 so cant put a fan there but this should sit fine

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2020/SNC12278.jpg.
a mock up of the two sockets might seperate them a bit later gotta cut this out but for now im off I didnt have my 220 to 120 converter so cant use my jigsaw to cut this out

thanks every one for reading and looking :D more to come soon

yea its confusing i basically started out with the Cosmos S which was intended to be a test try for TEC cooling...then in the middle of the build I had saved up enough money to buy the Ascension and when that got here my dad thought it was too small for EVERYTHING that I had :p and surprised me with the extension kit and the pedestal well more like he surprised me with the receipt :p... that is the jist of what happened in this build log

i had this build somewhat planned for quite a while and well Ive done WCing, Ive done air cooling and the next step for me was to try something new so I went with TEC cooling and i might be going with phase change later on just to try it out (im very curious about everything computers:p)

yea i love that TV its awesome works amazing and I love watching blu ray movies on it sooooo good :D especially now my computer plays blu rays while the CPU is sitting at -30C :p its pretty unique If i may say so myself :D

thanks for looking everybody:up::up:

heres another one:

HaHa..:D..Thats the part I always leave out till its to late..:p

haha soo true :D and just slowly moving on to DICE :p: maybe ive been thinking about it got a few custom pieces made by Duniek he does GREAT work :D

well I finally got a chance to get on, vacations rock :D

And man, I completely forgot how hot that machine looked. Such beautiful PCs.... sucks you gotta live out in the middle of nowhere (relatively speaking), those shipments should have been arriving faster.

Speaking of shipping, I found something that you might find pretty useful. Aramex Shop-n-ship (http://www.aramex.com/shopandship/Default.aspx). What happens is that they give you an actual address in the states so that you can order from anywhere you want even if they don't deliver internationally (like newegg for example), and anything you get shipped to that address gets forwarded to anywhere in the world. Pretty neat stuff :)

hey thanks for the link yea I use a company like that to get my shipments consolidated and shipped here at once still takes about 4 days to get here got a few more pics to show how the PC is looking :D

DAY 26

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y270/ddevilz/TEC%20work%20log/Day%2026/SNC12601.jpg

and I wonder why i got wires going into my motherboard :D

and a nice little pic from Duniek with the laser engraved pieces he made me :D

http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/8498/tnimg0241hr6.jpg :D:D looks soo awesome everyone should know what I will be using this for :p

well thats all for now will have more pics soon my last (hopefully) shipment should arrive tomm and well I really wanna have this finished by the end of this week and I will definitely have it done by the end of next week lets see how it goes :D

AND ITS ALIVE!!! :D im on it right now and it works like a beauty!!! :D the temps kinda weird running at -10C atm it seems a bit high but my room temp atm is 25C so a -35C delta is not bad right

EDIT: now its -14C :D :D and dropping

sad EDIT :( : I got a problem with my GPU loop... these past two days I have had a problem with every loop... My TEC loop started leaking when I was filling it up had to drain the loop which was a huge ***** in this case and wen you see where this case is sitting I dont have much space to move it back and forth... fixed that by putting a 45 BP fitting on each of the rads because the tubing was over stretched and I had not checked before filling since its in the pedestal and it was an ultra stupid mistake  and then fixed that and dried off the pedestal and everything clean and going and then i started to fill up the next two loops and then the RAM/NB/SB/Mosfets loop started to leak :( and had to fix that which was a HUGE :swearing: got that fixed and then everything worked and now I have my GPU loop which didnt leak but my GPU is running at 69C and went up to 85C yesterday :( so I gotta break down that loop and check the GPU block :( but will have pics for you in a bit they are uploading as I type :D

PICTURES EDIT!:

well I had taken some pics and forgotten to upload them from a few days ago so there are a few from the day after my last post of pics here goes:

well a little update on my GPU not too good got the whole thing removed took it out and the contact with the card and the block was HORRIBLE... i cleaned both of em up and then re applied thermal paste on everything and then re applied the block and it looked better... placed the card back in the system and powered it up when i went to check the temps it said the temps were over 4 million C so yea i know that wrong but i think i messed up the sensor somehow and well placed a thermal probe from the scythe fan controller and it says the block it self is at 26C this is better because before it was running around 35-36C so contact is better but this sensor thing and then i go to firefox and the graphics start bugging out i shut it off and have been blow drying the card every hour or two and hopefully if any liquid got onto the card it will have dryed up in the next day or two *fingers crossed*

Thanks for looking everyone

EDIT:

some happy news... been searching the web for a good deal on a new 280 just in case and i found one for $270 being sold by AuDioFreak39 here in the for sale section such an awesome deal and Im now going with a new WB for the 280 aswell i think this block is just a bit screwy... going to go with the XSPC razor it has better flow and is soo cheap over at sidewindercomputers.com only $90 shipped for a FC is DAMN cheap and its good looking and all the reviews have been positive for it... im buying this just in case so if anything not wrong with that one i just gotta spend another $90 on another XSPC razor and i can SLI... the aquagrafx is not made to sli im highly disappointed by this FC WB

great thread just sat down and read the lot :D

what sort of oc are u getting with that block and is the coldplate clamped down to the block ?

omaryunus
01-19-2009, 01:42 AM
havent had time to OC just yet my GPU has been acting up :( and i think it may have gone bad because i tried using it and the graphics just went out and there was no response no matter what i did :( .... and no the cold plate is not clamped to the block that would be an integrated block that is much more expensive and also fstfrddy doesnt do em any more... im getting -16C in a 20C ambient so it aint too bad :p as for an OC i can take this CPU to 4.0 without too much increase in voltage so thats good :D will get abck once i fix my graphics problem :(

haha yea i love this mouse pad aswell :D good stuff :D yea cant wait to get this actually finished the GPU is giving alot of problems it works fine for about 10 mins in windows and then the screen goes blank and nothing brings it back... after reseating the WB the sensor started reading the temp as over a million C :p and yesterday i checked and now its 4C :p with a 20C ambient :D i know thats not correct but next to a -16C temp it looks normal but yea gotta get this fixed

Wow ... amazing amount of work and mods you've done. I like the green - great job adding the LEDs. The finished case looks impressive. Good Luck with your GPU issue.

thanks shazza its not nearly as clean as your case but i did my best :p: well the GPU issue is doing better ive had to hijack funds from other projects or items (Nikon D40 we were not meant to be :() i wanted to start or get but its for the best i guess. I got a great deal on another GTX 280 from audiofreak39 and I picked up a XSPC razor 280 Full cover block... the aquagrafx has no back plate so it both bends the block and nothing to cool the memory on the back of the card so hopefully can get this going :D

thank you jimmyxxx :D means alot that you spent the time going through my work log.

but this build is not over yet... this is a slightly Temp setup... I will probably get this up and going once i can get my new 280 and the WB and then i have a few custom pieces that will be the major parts of the build :D i got some good things in the works keep watching everyone :D

Impressive TEC job and I love the focus on the "little things" :D

Any info on power draw from the wall? ;)

thanks alot for the kind words :D

but I got no idea of draw I should probably check but im too lazy... I know I got a total of 1700W of PSUs in this case and well thats the most Ive ever done personally :p... thanks for looking and keep watching more to come

well got a little update... I have everything in hand now the new GPU and the XSPC Razor gtx280 FC block :D and a bunch of stuff of which I will post pics soon (yea i know i said that before but this time ill do it :p:) just been ultra lazy so havent done anything with all that... I got 3dmark 06 and vantage on to test my current video card it seems to be ok the weird graphic glitches and etc do not appear to happen anymore... so decided to run 3dmarks to see if the system is ok... well as for scores atm it seems a bit low to me not sure since this is my first GTX 280... I scored 13k in 3dmark06 and then I scored P9k in vantage which seemed REALLY low to me not sure why... well I think something is shot on this card but dont know what... anyways I have my second card in hand and will be testing it with air very soon as soon as I disassemble the GPU loop and then will check out my scores of a stock EVGA gtx 280 if it seems the score was ok then im gonna put em in SLI :D (then I will be buying another XSPC razor FC block) lets see how that happens and for those waiting on my 360 watercooling project it will be up very soon... my current 360 is shot because it was a crap Xephyr and runs REALLY hot and my eject button is screwed the connection is fine just the button failed... so I ended up picking up a new Xbox 360 for $200 this is the arcade since i already have a 120GB HDD and the arcades have a higher chance of coming out as a Jasper (best mobo out yet) and comes with one of the best DVD drives... I returned the new drive and hopefully will be silencing my new 360 :D :D cant wait :D yea so ALOT of things around the bend... just wanted to let yall know and it is a holiday over here tomm so I should get alot of work done tonight and tomm :D hopefully get the whole thing up and running that would be a GREAT plus :D

well a little update got my system running pretty stable at 4.5 :D now on to OCing the GPU cant wait to see how this will do pics to validate this will be up soon with the 4.5 I idle at -10C and load at 20C this is in an ambient of 25-28C and all I really have to do now is switch out the stock cooler on the 280 and place the XSPC waterblock on it and then test that out... since I have had such a hard time takeing the GPU loop out what I have decided to do is to replace the silver barbs with koolance QDs the ones i have are VL3 bought em just before the VL4s came out but anyways i am really liking the feel of these... these will be leak tested today to see how well it will work anyways thought i would let you guys know of the progress  thanks for watching
