Uhm, congratulations? Way to keep us 5-7 days in waiting. Care to give us hints to the color/finish of the Ascension, or where you plan on going with this worklog?

That's a lot of unused fan holes :)

Are you really sure you want to use a BI GT and 3000 rpm Ultra Kazes ?

I recently bought a subscription to imageshack and I really like it, the website is never slow for me, the upload is faster and bigger limit. To make it even better all my images bet priority when people view them so they all load nice and fast in my worklog

That's a pretty box you got there. In fact, it's probably the nicest box you can buy at the moment. It's gonna be a good build this one, I can feel it. Anybody who buys their first Extreme CPU better make something nice out of it.

By the way, do you think you could post your coming pictures in a larger format so that we (lazy but extremely grateful) readers can see them in their full glory instantly? If you don't feel like doing so, that's fine with me too. :p:

A bit OT but, I will never understand for the like of me why Intel starts the name of its new like of processors @ 965, its soooo much logical to start at 165 and work your way up as new processors are released.

Gratz on the hawt CPU T-Flight

Thanks

Yeah, I'm sorry, i can't figure out what's causing that. This camera is supposed to take care of that, and I've got to find out why. Somebody I know (a freind) was screwing in the menu and probably borked up my settings.

It looks like you have the ISO set really low, and you're taking a picture by hand. If you don't have a tripod or something to lean the camera on/against to take the shot without holding it, try setting the ISO to at least 200 and bracing your arm for a steady hand.

T, you sure Falcon won't work with Vista? I thought folks had gotten past that by using Dx9 drivers? I'll check back at Frugal's to make sure. Gonna have to make a choice myself soon. Next machine is gonna have to be either Win XP 64bit or Vista. Both sort of scare me when it comes to Falcon compatability. If a machine can't run Falcon, it isn't any use to me!

Sweet. I should have cut a hole out in my MB tray before installing this last time, but I didn't. I need to pull it apart this upcoming week to add some blocks, so I may do that. It definitely makes it easier to work on.

Mods please delete this thread or lock it as you see fit. It will not be redone.

If I ever do another one, it will be after May 26th. I'm sure you know the significance of that date. I will be focused on other projects for the upcoming launch season, and I see no sense in this becoming a spam thread.

For those that took interest in this build I apologize. I had alot planned, and had started to reoganize a few things, and then all hell broke loose on here and I've lost interest. I now have a sizeable ammount of money tied up in other projects and computers will be on the back burner for the foreseeable future.

There is nothing really to post. I have installed the hardware into the case like it was, and the custom painting, and most of the interesting stuff I had planned for this build has been shelved. I'm sorry I wasted your time. It was a huge waste of my time as well, so I know know the loss as well.
