Which MARS bios ? [Archive] - XtremeSystems Forums

Hello

I see there are three lines of bioses for MARS.
G30 (beta), D16 and P14. Which I should take and what about differences? No changelog or anything included in the archives.

No problems with E8400 and those versions?
I bought mine with P12 bios and going to OC Xeon E3110

G bios is all that eye have used and G26 was just as stable as G28 both work for me & have jumped back and forth to see a differance bu thier wasnt any so stuck with G28 for now

I also use the P15, what is the difference between the P15 and the G26/28 ? What performance differences are their and is it advisable to update to the G26 or 28?

you try it Jules and let us know eye myself have only used G type bios from the gitgo
can tell you no differentance between G26 & G28 other than more cpu supports ( the expencive ones :rofl:)

...i use G30, 'cause i thought these betas are the newest, but i was told the p15 is newer. Is it better, too?

I would like to know the generally differnces between the G, P and other BIOS types... :)

Well the G 38 Bios did not help me a t all, it actually has caused me some problems with stabillity.
I am probably going to go back to P15 ;)

MARS logo forget which one but one of em dropped it and thier is wallpapper with QF on it too

Well the G 38 Bios did not help me a t all, it actually has caused me some problems with stabillity.
I am probably going to go back to P15 ;)

I'm on P12 and to be honest, there ain't any good BIOS-es so far. All of them are more or less the same and the fixes are not related to overclocking.
