I just took the huge heatsink off of my Leadtek Geforce 4 and there's Thermal Epoxy everywhere... What's the easiest and best way to clean it off? Thanks
:stick:

For epoxy I recommend goo-gone and a toothbrush. Or, you can sand it off. :P

How about rubbing alcohol and a rag?
EDIT: or rubbing alcohol and toothbrush?
EDIT EDIT: Oh, and I'm talking about on the GPU... I"m not worried about the heatsink.

That works too. Btw, the 99% isopropyl alcohol works best. :)

I used acetone, and if in doubt use sand paper. as long as you dont go carpenter on the GPU it will be fine, just use a fine gritt.... maybe 1000 or so.... and just do it enough to take off the goop. hell, even lap the GPU while yer at it.
