Hey,

Which block is better and why? Also if you have any links to reviews would be good to read :)

Thanks,
Craig

I would say swiftech even i've never owned one till then, i've nothing to back my claim :)
However i doubt the difference would be really noticeable between the two (less than 2°C IMO)

Never had a swifty, but I did have a DTek and now I have DD maze 3's ( 3)

Because of the cooling surface the swifty has over the maze4 I would say swifty.

I lub my maze3 tho :D

Men! Swiftech's 'diamond pin matrix' design provides superior heta exchange surface area copmared to any other blocks on the market (except some limited quantities purpose mamde contraptions like Cascade... ). Response time if phenomenal!

*grin*

Well the D-Tek and Thermochill blocks manage to hold our test CPUs at 2 degs above Ambient on a stock 1800+

If you're heading for JUST water (no pelts) then the LRWW design is the best on the market (see overclockers.com fir reviewage in depth), however, the LRWW isn't much cop if u plan on using pelts.

Just like the cascade, it's not made to be used with a pelt
I heard some time ago that cathar was preparing a version of the lrww that can be used with a pelt but it looks like it's a dead project

gonna have to go against the general consensus here and vote for the maze4 specifically because the swifty can't be mounted via mobo holes, but that's just my personal preference though.

to be fair both are freaking good blocks and in my general observation they seem to perform on par.
