A while ago I've done a few runs with an E8600 on dice on my blackops. I promised to show my results but I haven't had/made time to do it before but here they are:p:

I have to say that one of my (very crappy) sticks of ram wouldn't work that day so I had to run single channel with 1 GB, meaning there was no chance of getting good superpi/pifast scores:(
That didn't stop me from giving superpi a try after I was done 3d benching, just to see what it could do:)

I've added the hardware ranks on hwbot and for 3dmark01 I've also added the global rank. In the other benchmarks I have better scores with different gfx cards.

Sorry for the big pics but I don't have a program to make them smaller yet:p:

Just a tiny bit short of 6Ghz:( Board limited

And now for the 3d Results. The gfx card used was a stock sapphire 4870 with stock cooler.

Something is up.. your 06 looks very weak for those settings.

Here's mine at a much lower speed on the cpu.

What were you core/mem clocks? My cpu score is a lot higher but your SM 2 & 3 scores are higher. And I assume you were running in dual channel too, this might also be the difference:confused:

With the same cpu speed as mine your score would be around 19.4k or a little higher so the difference isn't that big. Might be your windows install is better for 3d cause I didn't tweak anything

It was on a different board though? I'm pretty sure it was right around the same speeds you have. I don't remember exactly to be honest with you.

Gendo, good MHz under dice.
U should get better S Pi & 3D performance, push your CellShocks...

Would u please share your BIOS settings?

This run wasn't done with my cellshocks. I didn't have them yet. I was using 1333 9-9-9-24 sticks:rolleyes: They were free though so I don't care:p:

Uuh I don't really recall the bios settings:p: I think fsb was like 1.5 and NB around 1.7. I've tried different gtl's and such but nothing added more Mhz.

Dice runs Gendo :D

Thanks guys:D I must add that these runs were limited by the board's fsb! I can do these Mhz with 1.7v real (maybe even less), which means I still have a bit more room to increase vcore. More vcore just didn't help on this board so I'm hoping my next run will be on an avenger to push the fsb some more:yepp:

@cadaveca: This is me on hwbot: http://hwbot.org/user.do?userId=15527
