TBH the school bus yellow sort of makes me feel sick when I stare at it too long, it may just be the picture, but it does suit the "bumblebee" theme well. The gear you will be putting inside, should appreciate the watercooling, but where will you fit the GTX rad?

looking forward to finally complete this :)

no problem bro, I will be putting my components back into my case tomorrow. Right now they are out of a case. I did some minor modding and cutting/trimming. Now I have more space to mount my water cooling stuff and hopefully better airflow. Ill post up a pic or two so you can see it. I hope to have it done tomorrow.

omg if only i can have the link of where to buy these 1/2 ID 3/4 OD yellow tubes

I like the first picture with the Swiftech GTZ :) But did you already looked by the Feser Company for these tubes?

omaryunus
11-09-2008, 04:38 AM
feser has these tubes but they only sell 3/8" ID version of this tube... there 1/2" ID colored tubing is not the best selection

Chicken Patty
11-09-2008, 07:28 AM
cpt zero

you can get clear tubing and this coolant from Feser one :)

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=383&products_id=22682

BlueAqua
11-09-2008, 07:34 AM
Why don't you just go with 3/8"ID tubing then if you want that color? The performance difference is almost negligible.

IcepiK
11-09-2008, 03:11 PM
u need black or yellow tubes, those green ones ruin your "bumblebee" look

Cpt_Zero
11-10-2008, 03:45 AM
chicken patty

i have to say that those who plan to make yellow themes in their watercooling tubing, i would really say that you have to dump the idea of using UV yellow Coolant from fesser one if you want your liquid to appear yellow.

you will only be dissapointed. i have bought this yellow UV coolant and its appears to be green if you pour it in your system.

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l165/nellrollon/161020081854.jpg

that is one of my problem

i have a color scheme problem in my tubing

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l165/nellrollon/161020081858.jpg

even in close up, it is green in color huhuhu.

i tried to add distilled water as per advice of other LC'ers its not still yellow sheeettt

damn dude, I had never seen it in person. It just said yellow so I figured. Maybe using their dye will get the color yellow?

Cpt_Zero
11-10-2008, 06:09 PM
yeap chicken_patty i dont know really why but i guess there is a thin line in being green and being yellow in coolant that is why i really wanted the yellow tubes :(

but i have already contacted the modder of the rig above and its tygon omfg

1/2 3/4 tygon yellow and damn its so expensive like 5USD per foot huhuhu

hmmm i have taken pics for the mounting of the rads

its actually like a v type styled. i made a bracket with holes that are in line with the mount of the PSU.
it helps that the anodized thumbscrew that hold the PSU will be hold also the bracket.

anyway just watch the pic, i hope it helps :)

Looks pretty freakin sweet man. Awesome job. And I second Chicken Patty's request on more pics of the RAD bracket. If you could take a couple of more pics of it I would greatly appreciate it. I have the same case and I am trying to get ideas to mount my 2 rads. I am debating to either go external mounted in a similar way that you did or to take a spare case and turn it into a radbox.

Anyways, sweet build.
