#1 What does Boinc stand for? I looked here and didn't see it so is it just a acronym for something?
#2 Is there any specific project we crunch for or can we do anyone we want and it just calculates the points for our team?

No specific project , feel free to choose whatever you like.
This particular sub forum 'specialises' in the World Community Grid project (and sheep and hamsters), but there's a ton of others as well.
