So just need to rub it in a little.... I get most games before they are released (and no, don't ask how :)) now before this starts into a flame war over RB2 & GHW, that's not the point of this thread as I love them both and play them both. And let me tell you, on a 10' screen, an HD projector and a $5000 home audio setup, it's a hell of a lot of fun rock'n out :rocker:

aw, i wish i had some pre relies WT, how is the touch pad for the guitar and do the drums miss like the RB1 (nvm it looks like u have the RB1 drums)

For now we have held off on getting any drum set. We were going to get the ion set but decided against it. My buddy has GHW on order and are going to try out the drum set to see if it's any good, honestly though will probably end up going with the GoodWoodsMod (http://goodwoodmods.com/index.html) for the RB/RB2 set. It's probably the most accurate set I've seen and for only $150 it's totally worth it. I'm going to construct a whole new adjustable base/stand instead of that cheap ass horrible design of the RB and RB2 drums. I have also done the "real drum pedal" mod which works wonders by the way. Yes this was a leak but a retail version. I'll be grabbing the new Guitar Hero guitars when there released :)

This is just my opinion but I think I like RB2 better. Don't get me wrong, there some pretty cool features that GHW has but when it comes down to just playing the music I feel RB2 is ahead of the pace.

i just got mine for my ps2 it came is a much larger box than the old guitars do and it has no handle so it was a pain to walk with, and they game me ridiculous ultra light picks with it it has to be like a .3 or .4 (for reference most lights are .6 and i use 1.2)


and the box is almost the length of the guitar but it dosnt come preassembled

edit assembly was inert neck into body what threw me off was that there was an open pack of gel salts that slid out of the box when it was opened and thats great (especially since it was in the room that my dog and i sleep in)
