Good morning all!
This weekend i felt the urge to lap my Celeron 420 and my Tuniq Tower.
Wanted to try it on the celery before my cd2, heh. (first lapping)
So f¤#"ing what you ask? :D
Did my lapping, installed it, tested it, super, fine and dandy.
Turn pc off, go upstairs, am social with wife, cuddle with the beast (dog), blabla.
Go back downstairs an hour or so later to do some more temp experiments...
Board just refuse to POST, FF all fans running, restarting, going through to A1, hangs. Over and over the same thing. Start to get a little sweaty, wth did i do wrong.
Try everything, clear CMOS, pull out both bios chips, move around Drams, on and on to no avail. Well, i decide to try my cd2 then and see.
I start unscrewing my Tuniq and something in the back of my head starts tickling... Leave the tuniq on but almost all screws beeing loose (not mine heh).
Press power on and TADA!
POST, boot no problemo. Attached it a little lighter the second time.
Guess it was some kind of grounding issue? Screws touching backplate or something?
