Ok, so, i mount the block to the UniSink, and i notice that the backplate is very loose on the block. I take the block apart, put it back together, same problem.

I took some pictures as you can notice when its right side up there is some space between the backplate and the plastic. when it is upside down, there is no space because of this the block is not going to make contact with the gpu. when you mount it to the unisink, the problem still remains.

anyone have any suggestions.

It's lose don't worry. If you think about it, it doesn't matter as there will be pressure holding down the plate.

lol so that explains why it has upwards travel. I don't have the unisink and was wondering why it was like that. :D
