Since it looks like these world wide overclocking competitions are becoming more and more popular I thought it would be a good idea to collect some info of the events and teams from different countries.

Events:

Advanced Overclocking Championship 2008 (AOCC 2008), July 2008
http://www.aocc2008.com/

MSI European Overclocking Challenge 2008, August 2008
http://www.msi.eu/oc/

Gigabyte Open Overclocking Championship 2008 (GOOC 2008), September 2008
http://gooc2008.gigabyte.com.tw/

MSI's world wide final in Taiwan, November 2008
website URL?

I don't know how well other people are organized but me and SF3D just launched our own Team Finland website. So please post your team, country, members and website and I'll list them below. This will also make it easier for event organizers to pick/invite teams:

Wouldn't it be better if manufacturers stopped inviting people and choose people using local competitions instead? Okay, some people have proven to be worthy competitors in the big competitions, but imho new people should be able to prove what they're worth as well.

I say NO to invitations, YES to competitions :D

massman, yes you are correct but sometimes the qualifications aren't very well organized and some countries are left out. But anyway, main purpose of this thread is to list events and teams :)

N3RO
10-17-2008, 04:41 AM
N3RO from Portugal

Zé do Bench Overclocking Team - (www.zedobench.com)
(N3RO, Steelballzz and Martakis)

I think the same of Massman... we are from a small country without "big" interest from big companies.

Gigabyte didn't invite anyone from Portugal...
AOCC was with invitation only...
MSI OC Contest was with some pre-qualification before (just like should be in all events )

What the hell is wrong with you Danish people? Always arguing? Please just include YOUR OWN team and keep mind of your own business.
