Hi kylepaddock

Unfortunately i have bad news regarding your problem.99.9% chance it's the motherboard problem(the whole K9N suffers from it).You can find out more at:
http://www.google.com/search?q=MSI+K9N+shutdown&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Here-> link (http://forum.msi.com.tw/index.php?topic=100766.0) is the MSI sticky forum thread regarding this issue(it's capacitor issue near the vrm section of the board,it should have higher capacitance rating than the implemented one so the board suffers from the shutdown problem randomly-mostly connected with IDE controller in some way)

Good luck with your problem, maybe it's some other issue than the one i described.

Kyle have you managed to install any OS on your system? If you have, try burning CD or DVD or try playing 2(yes 2) DIvX/DVD films at the same time from your hard drive(it's important they are located on your HDD when you play them)
