Hello, I apologize in advance for my English ... but I do not know English well and feel using the google translator. (they are Italian)

in our forum nobody uses the ram as my and I saw that you are very good ....

I have a problem with my memories ram Corsair Dominator PC2-8500 CL5 1066mhz 2x2GB version 2.1 v 1.1 .... my motherboard is an Asus p5q pro (bios 1406), a processor q6600.
I would like to know how to set the bios to try to make them go back often, at least 1120mhz. How should I set the timing and voltage? how to set pl and transaction booster?

as I understand it should lower the voltage to go back often these ram? true?

Thank you very much

Raffaele

then ... if I understood correctly, I must reduce the voltage from 2.1 v 2.0 v leave the timing to 5-5-5-15 ... the PL 8 and should arrive safely at 1120mhz. right?
settings that are in pl enable them to leave or disable?
I hope to be clear ...
thank you very much

You cant just "copy and past" somebody else he's settings.
No two hardware pieces are the same, it is like this with everything.

The modules run best at 2.1v. You may have to adjust your memory controller voltage to run more than 1066. Operation above 1066 for these modules cannot be guaranteed.

You will need to check in the manual, under the ADVANCED settings. The setting will be called NBv or MCHv or something similar.
