Hi,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but I've been out of the overclocking game for a while. What is the best tool to check your ram, i.e. when overclocking?

I know memtest is one that you boot into, however is there any new software that does a better job? (oh and just to confirm it is tests 2 and 5 on memtest right?).

Thanks

Memtest is good for a basic indicator for checking for bad RAM but is not a good stress test. If you are looking for OS based stress testing try Prime 95. If you have multiple cores, run 1 instance per core.
