There isn't really anywhere for this.. so lets try here. I got a Willem EPROM 5.0c programmer to re-program some BIOS chips, however I can't program them for crap even though the software recognises and erases the chips seemingly fine.
The chips for re-programming are;
Winbond W39V080FAPZ
SST49LF008A
I've tried just about everything and am ready to take a sledgehammer to this damn thing. I've also done stuff like changing LPT port settings to SPP with no success. Whenever I try to program these chips the software craps out instantly. Anyone here know anything about these programmers?
