So, I have found an opportunity to buy a Thermochill PA120.3 for ~85$ new. I am building a new PC soon, but I already have a Swifty MCR320 for that. Is this deal too good to pass up?

depends if you are mounting it inside or outside (because of the "not normal" fan spacing of the thermochill)
and it also depends on what you want to cool whit it, because a cpu only a MCR 320 already is good enough

Buy it, even if you don't use it for your build you can sell it and make a little money.

Depends on if you have room for it. Or if your case supports TC fan spacing or not.

My UFO is swiftech fan spacing so a TC rad even at $50 would be useless unless I planned on reselling it at a higher price. $85 is a good deal and would tempt even my grinchy points of view on the so called "Best" watercooling parts.

Ps. Make sure it dont have holes in it.

Thermochill is the best built rad in my opinion and I will never regret buying mine.

You'll be making a big mistake not buying that. Otherwise, buy it for $85 and sell it to me for $90.

I don't think it is worth the $85 to upgrade from a MCR320. If you didn't get the MCR320 I would say go for it.

You got to be pretty dumb, to not buy that. I mean, you may possibly not use it. (If your stupid.) But a TC PA 120.3 has many uses. You could save it for a later build. You could sell it for more. You could give it to me. If not that it makes a good present for your wife.

or to me for $91 :p:

Seriously though, don't pass the opportunity up, it's a great rad and you won't be dissappointed.

Ok, so this is what I thought. It really took a lot of effort to not buy it yesterday. I went back and bought it this morning, the actual price was 87.03 + tax, so about 91$. It was at the Microcenter in Northern Virginia. They also have a PA120.1 marked down to a little over 61$ if anyone is interested in that, didn't strike me as nearly a good deal as the 120.3 though. If you have a Microcenter near you (not many in the country) you might want to see if they have any Thermochill's that have been sitting on the shelves forever that they decided to mark down, it would be an extreme YMMV though.

I was surprised that they actually have some GTZ's in stock as well as a couple of the eVGA Hydro216 blocks. It doesn't seem like they sell very much watercooling stuff but at least they are still getting new stuff in stock.

So far 83% think you should buy it. Whether you use it or not and just sell it at a higher price is a different question. :) I say buy it, sell it and get 2 MCR320's. :ROTF:

I think that PA120s are being clearanced throughout all the Microcenter stores (I've stopped by my local one and they had the same price on PA120.1) but whether you find them in stock is huge YMMV (mine did not have any 120.3s :()
