(these pictures are before the new water cooling system i just installed this month.)

now for the mods i have done to this case. 1st i have removed a lot of the metal mesh screen from the fan on the back of the case.

as you can see here. and then the 250mm fan that's on the side door i removed some of the mesh off of it to..

then i add 2 - 5.25" bay mounted 120mm fans which cover the bottom 6 bays. to help pull more air into the case and to help push air across the 8800 and the mobo.

and i mounted the fan controllers in front, just above were the coolant hoses come threw into the case.

then the lights i have in it, which is 2 set of dual 6" UV blue cct and 2 sets of dual 12" UV blue cct to help light up the inside well.
i had to make the cable for all of the lights longer to reach the mounting plate that i am using to hold all of the toggle switch's.

and as you can see i have cut up the plastic trim ring on top of this case. since it did restrict the air flow from the top 92mm fan a lot. but i will finish this trim pc some time soon. i do not like the way it looks right now. i need to do something to the section i did trim off at. maybe round it out better, or something.

oops i guess i did not find the correct forum section, :( sorry about that. and thanks for showing me and moving it.

well i never thought of it looking like that till you said something about it Kibbler and now it does lol.

and i did use a CRT Hitachi 313 super scan flat 21" but now i use a Acer AL2216W 22" wide screen LCD for the monitor . but i still like the Hitachi super scan crt they are very nice. and since i could use 1600x1200 refresh rate 120hz and my gaming was great and fast.

but now i use the LCD res of 1680x1050 refresh rate 60hz . for gaming and desk top. don't get me wrond i like this LCD games do look really nice and all on it. i guess i would need to show my PC room so you can see what and werethis all takes place at.

beside i have only been using PC since 2004 and started to mess with them later that same yr. i guess i came a long way since then. from wire looming fans to psu. i have a lot of pictures on my photobucket account. with games and my 3 pc i have and my 69 Olds Cutlass S i have still.

is that a dd mc tdx cpu block? looks inverted to me. i prefer the outlet be the on top barb, inlet middle barb.

well its a dangerden TDX for the 775 cpus, but it is the old one. i guess the new ones look a bit different then mine. but the center barb i have as the input and the top or outer barb is the output of the block. from what i have seen and read and been told. that is the way the flow should be. or did i miss read what they said? it has been working great for me so far this way. i did order the brass top for it along with the extra O-ring and accelerator nozzles/plate insert. for this. i still do have the same block but for the 939 sockets AMD with the same extra stuff as well. i may put it on the back up rig i have. which i have posted it in the air cooling section since it is all air cooled ATM . but if i do get another pump i may do that 1 in water since i have the extra block and 3-120mm radiator, even though it is the stock 1 that came with the case. just to save me some cash since that would be all that would get cooled. but the pump would have to be something that could be ran for 24/7 operation. since it is also my server as well.

yes, my dad was in the 5th he was a Captain back then. but now he is or was MIA/ KIA but back in 1999/2000 they finally found his crash site and got a 95% ID on most of the people that were in the chopper that he was in.

so that was another trip to Washington , DC for the service.which was a few months before 9-11 . when my Mom and my sister went their for it.

well last wk i decide to take it all apart and paint it. and also flush out the cooling system since it was no longer green it was more like a nasty brown color now. and i did some more cutting on the case as well to help out with cable management and to open up the back side of the mobo behind the cpu in case i need to get to the bolts that hold the water block.

i wish i had use flat black paint and Rustoleum paint in stead of the cheap Walmart paint and gloss black like i 1st did. i would have been done 2 day before hand and a few buck richer to. i went threw 6 cans of cheap paint and didnt get it done but i used 2 cans of good paint and it is done.

here is some of the pictures i have taken during the hole week i had it apart. this was the 1st coat of gloss paint on it which will end up having 2 different coat over all.

now this piece i had to re-cut it some more since i am using car door guard to cover the edges up with.

and since i had double edges in such a short area they would not work right so i had to make them more straighter. i hope it works

ok i now have final pictures of the way it is going to look. i got the cable as best i can get them to behave lol.

and i am down to 3 sets of UV blue lights since out of the 2 - 12" sets each have a bad light in them.

and i think it is looking really good now even with the way the paint job turn out. but now i know what to do if there is a next time lol.

thanks this is my 1st time at painting a pc case. i have painted other stuff before.

but man i never knew painting a pc case is so difficult and stubborn at the same time .

but it was a learning experience for sure just like over clocking this quad core which i want to get to 3.6ghz yet.

i got it to 3.2ghz so far but 3.6ghz has been frustrating.

and i am down to 3 sets of UV blue lights since out of the 2 - 12" sets each have a bad light in them.

and i think it is looking really good now even with the way the paint job turn out. but now i know what to do if there is a next time lol.
