We had a demonstration of this today and it was absolutely awesome. I know some of the people here would have seen it at the IBC this year. This is a possible glimpse of the future. On a 6 metre screen the images were incredibly detailed and immersive, the 22.2 surround sound is breathtaking. BBC is working on compression of the 24GB/s output.

Its stil a loooooooooooooong way off from being available but it does look very interesting. Especially the 22.2 surround sound, i love my audio especially when watching movies and i bet that 22.2 would be simply spectacular to listen to.

It was phenomenal:up: They are looking at 2020 in Japan...... when everyone has 100" rollup OLed screens as standard :)
