and what would you possibly be doing that would make it too hot for a 70mm yate?

zipties on the corners perfectly, and keeps the mosfets in check and is very quiet.

So why are we watercooling it again? :shrug:

Oh yeah, people on this forum are hooked on bling. :rofl:

If you look at my build naekuh you will see I thought of a ziptie fan solution long ago.

however I would like to put more than just the Northbridge in the 3rd loop of my new build :ROTF::ROTF::ROTF::ROTF:

@ EDDY: Great news! :up::up::up::up::up::up::up:

I've got a 40mm fan on mine now and it keeps temps in check. But come on now.....why didn't you do that with your NB instead of getting that DD block there? You think it was getting too hot for a 70mm yate? ;) And the name of the forum is......

cuz when im pusing 500+fsb i need around 1.45v on the nb, which requires a block.

i aint blingsy, meaning if i did bling, its because i liked that solution in performance area as well.

NB watercooling does make a difference, mosfets i have yet to see any real gains.

500fsb @ 1.45vNB for x38 ... no way. I have always needed 1.6v or higher for 475 fsb and up. you must have a very nice board :up:

How warm are yours evil?

I'm gonna try a 50mm on the NB first on mine, then I'll tweak from there...*sigh*..it's gonna be a while before I get to that build too. :( :shakes:

This block is for the DK series. They have 2 mosfet locations. LMK if you sell that LT X48 T2R though, they only have one. :)
