Anyone fitted 480 Rad on top of Lian Li Full tower ?
I currently have MCR320 on the top panel of my Lian Li G70.
Has anyone tried/thought about fitting a 480 rad like the Feser Xchanger 480 on the top panel ?
From my measurements, it should get in there, although it is going to be very tight (should I say, Mega tight), cuttings would probably be done using some kind of high precision machine (probably by the help of some handy friends), as there is about 1-0.5 cm room for mistakes :D

In addition, I am thinking about raising the lower HD bay up into the 5.25" bays, using the Lian Li HDD bays for 5.25", which you can put up to 4 HDDs.
In the remaining space, I thought about adding another D5, with a little res and putting the MCR320 on the bottom of the case, cutting the bottom panel of course.
Crazy, I know :D but it's inevitable when you want to go XTREME

This of course applies to PC7X cases too, your thought are welcome

Thanks for bringing that link to my attention and of course well done to the person responsible for that build...

I all of a sudden feel I don't need to build a 3 axis CNC mill to do a lot of the things that I want.

Koolance offers quad rads integrated into the tops of some Li cases. Setting aside the usual disparaging comments, a top-mounted quad-rad is clearly an option. The cases used, unsurprisingly, are all E-ATX types.

Thanks for that.

From what I see, he added another 120 Fan on the top, otherwise the rad will probably fit without cutting the front upper frame like done in the PCA70 above.
I don't see why he added that 120 fan up there, it's useless.
